Change Healthcare Data Notification

Change Healthcare security incident: On February 21, 2024, Change Healthcare (CHC) experienced a ransomware attack. The attack compromised its computer systems and a substantial amount of customer data. Because CHC provides services to health care providers, health insurance plans and other companies, personal information, including health information, was impacted. 

How HOMELINK is affiliated with CHC:
HOMELINK has used CHC, along with other clearinghouses, to process billing and payment transactions. Immediately following their security incident, HOMELINK promptly enacted security protocols. All transactions submitted February 20th and after were impacted by these protocols.
